| Wow it's been awhile huh?
Basically my life has been super crazy! We are within 10 weeks of the wedding and the only things that I have left to do is actually send out the invitations and have my final dress fitting. Everything else is done! I'm so proud of myself
Last week at this time I was getting oral surgery to get a impacted wisdom tooth removed that has been causing me problems for quite some time and I didn't even know it! I actually got put under and that scared me half to death because I had never been put under but it was ok. The pain that I felt the 1st four days after surgery was the worst pain that I had ever felt before but actually I am healing faster then norm according to my dentist. I just want to be able to eat pizza. I've been having to eat allot of pasta, eggs, yogurt and softer foods because I can't chew on that side yet. I've been on antibiotics for the past 2 weeks and been to a bar two times in that time frame where I couldn't drink because of the meds... that sucks!
I'm am super excited because I found out that I will get a trip to Six Flags St Louis in before the wedding. March 31st-April 2nd me, James and two of my friends will be going so it should be fun. I need to release some of this stress in the form of coaster riding.
| Wow it has been a long time!! Geeze time flys by!
Let's see.. wedding planning is going great and the wedding date is just coming up so freaking fast. I have my dress, flowers ordered, and most importantly our honeymoon booked. Ceremony and reception is at Embassy Suites just like I wanted. It's just gorgeous there!
On to the honeymoon... we are going to Cancun for 7 nights/8days at the Moon Palace resort. Now we could have done our honeymoon a little cheaper espically in Cancun but you need to check this place out!! http://www.palaceresorts.com I can't wait. We are leaving Monday April 24th and the limo will be there to pick us up at 4:45am!! Freaking 4:45am! Wow!!
Other then that my life has been pretty boring. My life has just been this wedding! It's scary but exciting at the same time.

| This has not been a good week at work but I could care less because I will be in Gurnee all weekend for closing weekend at Six Flags!!
This past weekend I was at Fright Fest both Friday from 6pm-10pm and then Sunday from 9:30am-6:30pm. Friday night was interesting to say the least. Something that I thought could not happen happened and I did nothing. I know that's confusing but I can't give out any info. Sorry Very confusing for me too. Anyways... it was just me and my nephew Friday night and I had the brilliant idea to take my nephew through Internal Nightmare by myself. The guy that was letting us in heard my nephew say that he didn't want to lead or be last so he made us go in by ourselves so I started off leading but we ended ended up walking side-by-side hand-in-hand because we were so scared. I will NEVER attempt to take my little nephew into a haunted house by myself again. About 10 steps in I said "What in the hell am I doing!" All in all it was a really good night.
Sunday... now that is a different story! Sunday was freezing. Sunday was rainy. Sunday we got stuck on Batmans lift in the freezing rain. Enough said....
At least the crowds were not too bad on Sunday. It was a fun because it was also my littlest nephews, brothers and sister in laws 1st time to Fright Fest so it was quite amusing watching them

| So we have offically changed our wedding plans after we saw my sisters wedding. We were going to run off to Hawaii (with the blessing of our families) and get married but now James wants to have a actual wedding.. all I can think of is $$$$$$$$$$. We have already talked to Embassy Suites in downtown Chicago Lakefront and they have awesome wedding packages! I think that's going to be "THE" place. We love Embassy Suites since we stayed in that one in Tennessee. They have mini rainforests inside of a hotel. They are so pretty.
Well I gotta get back to work now. Ya'll have a good night now!
| Mondays stink!
So on Saturday we took our 1st trip to Fright Fest. It really sucks because James has class until 1pm on Saturdays this semister so we didn't even get to Grand Ave until 3pm. It took us 45 minutes just to get into the parking lot so I knew right away that it was going to busy but I never would have imagined how busy it actually was going to be.
So we drove around the back parking lot before we finally found a spot. There were no parking spots available they were basically sending people in to find spots of people that were leaving and that took us about 30 minutes! Of course it wouldn't have been so bad if some idiots didn't take 2 or 3 spots to park their freaking cars... grrr!! The lines for tickets went back into the parking lot (thank god for season passes). So we get in and head straight for Seven Sins Cemetary and you couldn't even see the charecters that were out because there was just a sea of people. Then we decided to stop and get something to drink and we actually walked for awhile looking for a place that did not have a super long line and finally we found the stand over by Whizzer that didn't look too long but it still took over 30 minutes just to get a drink!! At that point we made the decision to just do the 3 haunted houses, see LAFF and then get the heck out of there because we were defnitley not having a good time. I was actually getting very panicky because there were just too many people around! They were everywhere.. I felt a panic attack coming on! I'm not usually clausterphobic but I was on Saturday. Now just last year alone I went to SFGAM 43 times... in one season!! So in total in my lifetime I have been to SFGAM at least 1000 times and I NEVER EVER remember it being that busy. I would have been OK if they would have turned us away at the gate due to the park being too full.
Overall we did still have a good time. We were there for less then 4 hours and did the 3 houses and saw LAFF and that's it. Lucky for me we are going this Sunday the 23rd and then Saturday the 29th and Sunday the 30th (I know our dates keep changing!) so I'm hoping those trips will at least be a little better. Don't get me wrong Fright Fest is always busy and I understand that I think I am just used to going on the rainy 50 degree days when the park is slow. Saturday was the perfect weather day so I am praying for rain this Sunday and all of next weekend =)
After we left the park we just headed over to Rainforest Cafe (I love that place) for a few drinks and the worlds best Bruschetta. So all in all it was a good day. Oh yeah James actually did something for Sweetest Day which shocked me because we don't celebrate Sweetest Day. It's just another money guzzling "holiday". It was nice to get a dozen roses, balloons and a insanley touching card!!
